Why I built Playi.

I built Playi to put a real coaching agent in every coach's hands without lowering the standard. A coach should be able to bring in an old playbook, describe a new idea, or clean up a rough concept and end with something they would actually teach.

Coaches should not have to fight the tool.

Most play-design tools still make the coach translate football into software steps first. Playi goes the other direction: it starts with the language, structure, and artifacts coaches already use.

The coach should stay focused on scheme, strategy, and teaching. Playi handles the tedious production work: creating the first version, cleaning up messy inputs, organizing installs, and making changes without forcing a redraw.

Designed around the real work.

Playi is shaped around how coaches already build, adjust, teach, and install a playbook.

01

Start with the real workflow

Playi is built around playbooks, installs, call sheets, whiteboards, edits, and the language coaches already use.

02

Keep the product focused

Every feature has to earn its place. If something feels slow, unclear, or overbuilt, it gets simplified until the football is back in front.

03

Respect the playbook

A playbook is years of terminology, preference, and teaching. Playi should help organize that work without flattening it into generic content.

Start with the playbook you have.

Import an old install or describe the next concept. Playi keeps the work editable and gets the slow parts out of the way.
